Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Nepal ICT Toolkit ("this site", "we", "us") handles information. In short: the date, Unicode, and PDF tools on this site do not collect, store, or transmit your data anywhere — all processing happens locally in your browser.

Information we do not collect

When you use the date converter, calendar, Unicode converter, DOCX converter, or PDF editor, none of the dates, text, documents, or files you enter or upload are sent to any server. There is no account system, no server-side storage, and no database of user activity for these tools.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. If ads are shown, Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data. It reports aggregate, anonymized traffic patterns only — for example, which tool pages are visited most and how fast pages load for visitors — and cannot be linked back to any individual visitor. It is never linked to the content of what you convert or edit using the tools themselves, since that content never leaves your browser in the first place.

Right-click and copy restrictions

This site disables the right-click menu and a few keyboard shortcuts (such as view-source and dev-tools shortcuts) on most of the page, and disables text selection outside of input fields, as a basic deterrent against casual copying of page content. Text boxes, form fields, and the "Copy" buttons on the conversion tools are deliberately left fully functional. These measures are a deterrent only; they don't and can't prevent a technically determined visitor from viewing this site's source code, since any browser must download that code to display the page at all.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party resources (for example, official Nepal government gazette notices, or documentation for the open-source libraries used to build these tools). We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

Children's privacy

This site is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the tools process data locally in your browser and nothing is collected server-side, no personal data from any user, including children, is retained by this site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time, for example if advertising or analytics providers change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
