Split a PDF into Separate Pages
Upload a PDF and download every page as its own PDF file in a ZIP archive. You can delete or reorder pages first if you only want part of the document split out.
Use the controls on each page thumbnail to rotate, reorder, or delete pages.
About the PDF Split Tool
This tool splits a PDF into separate, individual one-page PDF files, downloaded together as a ZIP archive. It's the tool to reach for when you have one large PDF and need to extract just a few pages, or need each page available as its own standalone file.
How it works
Upload a PDF, optionally delete any pages you don't need or reorder them first using the page thumbnail controls, then split — every remaining page is exported as its own PDF, named page-01.pdf, page-02.pdf, and so on, matching the order shown on screen.
Common uses
- Pulling a single page or a short range out of a long scanned report
- Breaking a multi-invoice PDF batch into individual invoice files
- Separating a signed contract's pages for individual filing or distribution
Need to combine files instead? See merge PDF files. To only reorder or rotate pages without splitting them apart, see rotate, delete & reorder PDF pages.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I get back?
A ZIP file containing one PDF per page, named page-01.pdf, page-02.pdf, and so on, in the order shown on screen.
Can I split out just some pages?
Yes — delete the pages you don't want first (using the ✕ on each thumbnail), then split; only the kept pages are included.
